About the Author
I grew up lower middle-class in Eagle Lake, Minnesota, a small town in Southwest Minnesota, population 763. I'm the oldest of four kids, my dad is a barber and I taught myself how to program the Apple ][+ when I was 14. I've been writing code and consulting since I was 16. I love smart, interesting, complex people with big ideas who want to change the world. If that sounds like you, we'll resonate. In June 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 3A cancer and went through major surgery, chemotherapy and 33 radiation treatments. I'm very, very grateful to be alive and started feeling "normal" recently after receiving a "clear" from my incredible doctors. I have a 12 year old son, Zak, and an incredible wife, Vivian Glyck, who does philanthropic work in Uganda and Senegal through the "Just Like My Child" foundation, a non-profit 501c3 organization that provides education, microfinance, microcredit, entrepreneurship, girls education and legal rights in Uganda and Senegal. Should have been proof read before being published

Hard to see how Mike Koenigs is a successful author when he doesn’t bother in copy editing.
The kindle version i am trying to read I’ve run across words mistakenly duplicated, the letter “a” inserted where it doesn’t need to be, missing “of” in a sentence…and I’m only 30% into the book.
These are direct, unaltered examples:
“…set your camera above eye-level and you’re sure sure your’re looking at the lens…”
“…if you don’t have a much of a background..”
“Depending on the strength and type light…”
This is infuriating and insulting to read. The content is very basic yet helpful. Sadly, I have quit reading as it has proven to be jarring when encountering these errors. These grammatical mistakes lower the credibility of the author and value of the material. Why pay attention to details for good interviewing when the author apparently does not pay attention to proof reading his own book?

How often do you get to see someone who is able to take a 10 minute talk, turn it into an illustrated book on Amazon and plan to turn it into a paperback he can use as a better business card at speaking gigs? Another great read by Mike. If you use any type of live stream in your business (and if you don't, why not?) this is a must read book. Great tips on many things that we may over look while on camera.
